Working in Whistler resort as a photojournalist leads to covering some of the more colorful festival events. These two news media photos were shot during the 2014 WinterPRIDE Festival in Whistler village during the Winter season. After the annual parade in the village some of the participants went to the Olympic Rings to show their pride and provide a news media photo opportunity. I always like covering the annual festivals in Whistler resort because they are so colorful and there are many chances to obtain very compelling news media photos.
